Support
Contact us
Email support@ocelotwrangler.com for help with the app, your account or a subscription. It’s also where to reach us about content that breaks our Terms of Use, and to appeal a decision.
When you contact us from inside the app, the email already includes your account ID, so we can find your account without asking for anything else.
Report something
We review every report within 24 hours. A report sends us a copy of what you reported, but never its location or address.
In the app
Open the menu on a shared showplace, group, photo or person, and choose Report. Pick what’s wrong, and add a note if it helps, such as whose home a place is. Afterwards, the app offers to block the person responsible.
From a link on showplaces.app
If someone sent you a Showplaces link and it opened on this website, use the “Report” link at the bottom of the page. You don’t need an account or the app. We can’t reply to reports sent this way, so email us if you’d like an answer. A link that has expired can’t be reported from the website, but you can still email us about it.
If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Block someone
Open the menu on a person, or on a showplace or group they shared with you, and choose Block. You need to be signed in.
- You both leave each other’s shared showplaces and groups.
- Neither of you can invite the other.
- In groups you both belong to, you stop seeing each other’s places, photos and profile picture.
- They aren’t told.
You can unblock people in the app’s settings. Unblocking doesn’t bring back anything you shared before. You’d need to share it again.
Appeal a decision
If sharing was turned off for one of your showplaces or groups, or your account can no longer share, it’s because something you shared was reported and found to break our Terms of Use. Everything else in the app keeps working.
If you think we got it wrong, email support@ocelotwrangler.com and tell us what happened. Use Contact Us in the app if you can, so your account ID is included. Otherwise, include the email address you sign in with. We’ll look at it again and reply.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Account, then Settings, and tap Delete Account. It takes effect straight away and can’t be undone.
- Every showplace, group, route and photo you own is deleted from our servers, along with your profile picture, display name and sign-in details.
- People you shared with lose access, and links you sent stop working.
- Photos you added to other people’s showplaces stay there, without your name on them.
- Places you kept only on your device, without syncing them, stay on that device.
- Reports you made, or that were made about your content, are kept as moderation records. The Privacy Policy explains why.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Showplaces Pro subscription. Cancel it in your Apple Account’s subscription settings.
If you can’t get into the app, email us from the address you sign in with and we’ll delete your account for you.
Showplaces Pro
Pro is sold by Apple. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account’s subscription settings: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds.
